I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Mehra. He is truly amazing. He delivered my first baby 4 1/2 years ago when my water broke early at 27 weeks, so I didn’t hesitate this time around asking him to be my MFM doctor for my second pregnancy. He is VERY patient and trustworthy. I tend to ask many questions and he always took the time to answer every one. He is one of those doctors that you just know you can trust. Very intelligent and you can tell he cares about his patients. He was also very reassuring when I needed it. He managed to get me to full term for this second pregnancy and I couldn’t be more grateful. I would absolutely recommend him without a doubt.
Being referred to Dr. Mehra has been by far one of the biggest blessings to me in my pregnancy with twins. I’m so glad I chose him over traveling to a different state for a minimally invasive procedure. I would not have wanted to be in any body else’s care, but his. His bed side manner, education, knowledge and the dedication that he puts into his career definitely does not go unnoticed. Dr. Mehra is the best doctor I’ve ever seen in my life. He saw me through my high-risk mono-di twin pregnancy and delivered our boys over a year ago. He is extremely knowledgable, is one of the most skilled surgeons in the Midwest if (God forbid) you need fetal surgery, and he truly listens to the patient and asks important follow-up questions rather than rushing through the appointment or jumping to most obvious/likely conclusion. He follows up with his patients personally, sometimes calling them at home on the weekend to check in. He is uncommonly kind, in a way that stays with you for years and years. I don’t think my husband and I will ever forget him. If you get referred to Dr. Mehra, I know it can be scary to think your baby and you need a higher level of care than your average pregnancy requires, but please know that you are in the most capable and genuinely caring hands possible.
